Job summary

RPh on the Go USA, Inc. is seeking a skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract assignment in San Antonio, TX. Two shifts are available: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 12:00 PM–8:00 PM.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on sterile compounding experience and a solid understanding of pharmacy procedures and compliance. Responsibilities include preparing and processing prescriptions, assisting pharmacists in medication preparation and dispensing, and performing pharmaceutical

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
PTCB certification required.
IV Certification for sterile compounding proficiency required.

Responsibilities

Prepare and process prescriptions accurately.
Assist pharmacists in medication preparation and dispensing.
Perform pharmaceutical calculations for correct dosages.
Label and package medications.
Participate in medication incident management by identifying, documenting, and reporting issues.
Maintain a clean and safe pharmacy environment; sanitize surfaces and laminar flow hoods.
Inspect equipment for defects and maintain temperature logs and cleaning records.
Contribute to pharmacy organization and ensure ongoing compliance.
