Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to oversee sterile compounding operations across multiple locations. You will lead roughly 30 caregivers, ensure USP 797/800 compliance and drive quality assurance, training, and professional development.

Qualifications

Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible within 90 days of hire.
Completion of a health-system Pharmacy Administration or Leadership (HSPAL) PGY2 Residency OR four years of relevant pharmacy experience, including one year of leadership experience.
Pharmacy degree with current state licensure (preferred).
MS, MBS, PharmD and/or residency (preferred).

Responsibilities

Oversee sterile compounding operations across Akron General Inpatient Pharmacy, Akron General Cancer Center and infusion centers.
Provide leadership for ~30 caregivers, including infusion pharmacists and sterile compounding technicians.
Ensure compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 standards and maintain quality assurance.
Support operational excellence, regulatory compliance and professional development across sites.
Lead training and development of caregivers and coordinate orientation.
Participate in on‑call rotation and manage program operations while on call.
