Qualifications

• PharmD degree and active Florida pharmacist license.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, verify, and process physician medication orders accurately.
• Perform and oversee sterile compounding processes per USP standards.
• Conduct final verification of compounded sterile preparations for safety and efficacy.
• Review medication profiles for allergies, interactions, and dosing accuracy.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Maintain cleanroom conditions and aseptic technique; perform environmental monitoring.
• Participate in quality assurance programs and medication safety initiatives.
• Manage compounding, batch records, and regulatory documentation.
• Assist with inventory control and controlled substances management.
• Support development and implementation of pharmacy policies and staff training.
