Job summary

QuVa Pharma in New Jersey is seeking a Compounding Pharmacy Technician II to prepare sterile preparations under pharmacist supervision. You will maintain cleanroom standards, follow batch records, and operate compounding equipment.

Responsibilities include adherence to GMPs and regulatory guidelines, documentation, and supporting production goals. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and may hold a CPhT license; training provided.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of ISO 5/7 cleanroom gowning.
• Basic mathematics and metric unit conversion.
• Knowledge of GMPs and manufacturing operations.
• Licensing as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician in the posting state preferred.
• Completion of 3 successful Media fill qualifications (manual or automated).

Responsibilities

• Complies with state and federal laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• Compounds sterile preparations accurately according to batch records under supervision.
• Operates compounding equipment according to policy and procedure.
• Prepares work area and materials prior to compounding; maintains clean room areas.
• Maintains productivity within guidelines and adheres to documentation requirements.
• Supports production area to meet goals and quality objectives.
• Assists other areas as needed and notifies supervision of deviations.
