Job summary

MicroAire Surgical Instruments LLC in Charlottesville, VA is hiring a Cleanroom Operator to assemble, clean, and package medical devices in a controlled cleanroom environment, supporting flow-line and cell assembly and preparing products for sterilization.

This non-exempt, full-time position requires attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision; basic gowning and cleanroom protocols are part of daily tasks, with occasional overtime and cross-training

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach to work.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Manual dexterity and visual acuity needed to perform detailed assembly and packaging tasks.
Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Clean, assemble, and package products according to established operating procedures.
Support flow-line, cell, and single-piece assembly packaging activities.
Release work orders and stock materials as needed; use ERP/software to record inventory movements.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and gowning areas and ensure proper PPE use.
