Aerotek is seeking a Medical Device Production Technician to contribute to the manufacture of high-quality medical devices in a predominantly cleanroom setting. The role involves polymer formulation, spray coating, precise assembly, inspection with microscopes, and rigorous GMP-compliant documentation.

The position requires standing for long periods, attention to detail, and the ability to handle chemicals safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year medical device industry experience preferred.
• Experience in a cleanroom environment with gowning/de-gowning.|
• Ability to stand for entire shift and perform repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
• Moderate English proficiency to read instructions and document processes.
• Comfort working with chemicals and following safety procedures.
• Ability to follow GMP guidelines and SOPs precisely.
• Basic mechanical aptitude to operate production equipment.

Responsabilités

• Operate coating machines and production equipment per specifications and GMP requirements.
• Formulate polymers and spray coating formulations and verify quality.
• Use microscope and other equipment to inspect and assemble medical devices.
• Coat, inspect, and package balloon catheters with adherence to procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation for traceability and compliance.
• Identify defects during microscopic inspection to ensure safety and quality.
• Prepare products for packing and sterilization, including both sterile and non-sterile goods.
• Package products per established protocols and quality standards.
• Identify supplies to replenish and prevent production delays.
• Build components for top-level work orders with correct assembly and documentation.
• Perform cleaning and housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Occasionally work overtime and weekends to meet output goals.
• Follow cleanroom gowning/de-gowning procedures and handle chemicals safely.
