Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for a 24-bed Intermediate Care stepdown unit. You will monitor patients with pulmonary, neurological, renal, geriatric, and infectious disease processes and coordinate care using the nursing process.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Greater than one year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled RN, provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
