Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia or a compact state.
• Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Minimum 2+ years in a specialized area with Charge Nurse or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise patient care during assigned shifts.
• Make rounds on all patients to ensure current clinical standards are met.
• Analyze shift workload to determine staffing needs.
• Coordinate patient transfers, admissions, and discharges for throughput.
• Organize and reprioritize work based on patient needs and resources.
• Provide feedback and mentoring to new hires and staff.
