Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc. is seeking an RN with ICU Stepdown experience for a 13-week assignment at 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642. Floating 3x12s (36 hours/week) with 12-hour shifts, weekends/holidays/on-call as needed.

Requires NY RN license, BLS, NIHSS; ACLS preferred. 2 years of relevant experience and neurosurgery/telemetry exposure are preferred. Position details include a 36–48 hour weekly schedule with D/E/N rotating shifts, and a high-acuity neurosurgery floor environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of RN experience in ICU Stepdown/PCU is required.
• Active NY RN license; BLS and NIHSS are required; ACLS is preferred.
• Telemetry experience is required; neuro/ Neurosurgery experience is advantageous.

Title: RN ICU Stepdown
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642
Schedule: Floating Shift 3*12s 36hours/week

Shift: 36 or 48 hrs/week; D/E/N rotating

Experience: 2 years required

Required: PCU/Stepdown, high-acuity stroke, neurosurgery, and telemetry experience

License: Active NY RN license only

Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required; ACLS preferred

Schedule: Weekends, holidays, on-call/callback, and charge duties per unit needs

Unit: Mixed-acuity neurosurgery floor with an 8-bed high-acuity stepdown unit

Skills: Q1 neuro checks, EVDs, lumbar/subdural drains, 3% NS, Cardene drips, arterial lines, carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm coiling/clipping, DBS insertion, VP shunts, and seizure management
