Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient care on our Medical-Surgical Stepdown Unit. The CNA will assist nursing staff with hygiene, feeding and basic care while maintaining safety and patient comfort in a fast-paced hospital setting.

This role requires SC CNA certification or Patient Care Technician certification, BLS, and strong communication. Night shift, 36 hours per week, hourly pay, and a collaborative healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current South Carolina CNA certification or Patient Care Technician certificate.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains vital signs and reports findings to the staff.
• Provides patient care including basic hygiene, bathing and feeding.
• Documents findings and information accurately.
• Communicates necessary information to the staff per policy.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
