Job summary

Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Step Down unit. This full-time role requires working every third weekend and rotating holidays, within a 32-bed CCU and Level 1 Trauma Center.

You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, applying evidence-based practice and collaborative teamwork to ensure safe, therapeutic outcomes and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care per standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice and clinical decision making.
