Job summary

Advocate Health’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Clinical Resource Unit. This full-time role (36 hours per week) involves working every third weekend and every other holiday in a Level I trauma center and a dynamic float pool environment across units including observation, med/tele, CC stepdown, and behavioral health.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited nursing program, a current RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
