Job summary

Scripps Health is hiring for a full-time RN on a 12-hour day shift at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista. You will provide comprehensive care across Step-Down, Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical units, with a focus on high-acuity cardiac and post-surgical patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to Step-Down, Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical patients.
• Provide Peritoneal dialysis treatments and administration.
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, physical exams, and recorded vital signs with timely and accurate documentation.
• Develop personalized nursing care plans and efficiently delegated patient care activities; collaborate with physicians to report patient progress and communicate critical or abnormal findings to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, mentoring new staff, and communicating effectively with patients and families to ensure compassionate, high-quality care.
