Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking a Step Down Nurse to deliver high‑quality care to intermediate‑acuity patients in an acute care setting. You will perform comprehensive assessments, monitor telemetry and vital signs, administer medications, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition.

Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, you will coordinate care and support patient and family education to promote understanding and safe care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license.
• Experience in acute or step-down unit preferred.
• Strong communication and clinical judgment.
