Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking a Surgical Stepdown Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive bedside care for adult post-surgical and stepdown patients. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care as part of an interdisciplinary team.

You will coordinate with physicians and other caregivers, supervise care quality, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure.
• Ability to apply the nursing process at the bedside.
• Effective clinical assessment, critical thinking, and care evaluation.
• Collaborative communication with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Job description

Surgical Stepdown Registered Nurse provides comprehensive bedside nursing care for adult post-surgical and stepdown patients using the nursing process. Responsibilities include assessing patients, planning and implementing individualized care, and evaluating outcomes to ensure safe, effective treatment.

Key duties involve coordinating with physicians and an interdisciplinary team, and overseeing the effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers.

In addition, the role requires strong commitment to patient rights and confidentiality, while following facility standards in a fast-paced and physically demanding hospital environment.
