Job summary

World Electric Supply's STEP Program is a 12-month rotational development program designed to educate, train, and accelerate careers across Warehouse/Logistics, Inside Sales, Projects & Quotations, Marketing/Digital Solutions/E-Commerce, and Outside Sales.

You will gain hands-on experience through on-the-job training, e-learning, mentor-led sessions, and residency trips, with opportunities to present to our Executive Leadership team at the program's conclusion.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Business Admin, SCM, Engineering, Sales, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong candidate with proactive, self-starter attitude.
• Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in 12-month rotational assignments across Warehouse/Logistics, Inside Sales, Projects & Quotations, Marketing/Digital Solutions, and Outside Sales.
• Gain hands-on experience through on-the-job training, e-learning, and residency trips.
• Present to Executive Leadership on key initiatives at program end.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on real-world projects and process improvements.

The Sonepar Training for Emerging Professionals Program (STEP) is a (12-Month) dynamic, intensive rotational program designed to educate, train, and develop skills in emerging professionals and help establish your career. You will get hands on experience in every aspect of our business through on-the-job, e-learning, subject matter expert training, and residency trips. This rotational program includes exposure to site and corporate operations, sales strategies, processes, procurement, project management, E-Commerce, and the Sonepar USA and our Operating Companies’ business philosophy. At the conclusion of this dynamic program, you will have the opportunity to present to our Executive Leadership team on key strategic organizational initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or related degree required
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Possess an enthusiastic/self-starter attitude
• Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
