Job summary

North Coast Electric, part of the Sonepar family, offers a 12-month Sonepar STEP rotational program designed to educate, train, and develop emerging professionals across Warehouse/Logistics, Inside Sales, Projects & Quotations, Marketing/Digital Solutions/E-Commerce, and Outside Sales tracks.

You will gain hands-on experience through on-the-job training, e-learning, mentor support, and residency trips, with exposure to site and corporate operations and a final presentation to the Executive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Enthusiastic, self-starter attitude with strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; flexible team player.

Responsibilities

• Rotations across Warehouse/Logistics, Inside Sales/Counter, Projects & Quotations, Marketing/Digital Solutions/E-Commerce, Outside Sales/Specialty Track.
• Exposure to site and corporate operations, sales strategies, processes, procurement, project management and E-Commerce.
• Residency trips and mentorship to build business acumen and leadership capabilities.
• Opportunity to present key initiatives to the Executive Leadership team at program conclusion.

The Sonepar Training for Emerging Professionals Program (STEP) is a ( 12-Month ) dynamic, intensive rotational program designed to educate, train, and develop skills in emerging professionals and help establish your career. You will get hands on experience in every aspect of our business through on-the-job, e-learning, subject matter expert training, and residency trips. This rotational program includes exposure to site and corporate operations, sales strategies, processes, procurement, project management, E-Commerce, and the Sonepar USA and our Operating Companies’ business philosophy. At the conclusion of this dynamic program, you will have the opportunity to present to our Executive Leadership team on key strategic organizational initiatives.

Our program provides the ability to grow your career within our organization, participate in special assignments and gain business acumen through mentor programs. This program will begin in June 2027.

The core rotations of this program are:

• Marketing/Digital Solutions/E-Commerce
• Outside Sales/Specialty Track

In addition to your rotations, you will also experience:

• Team-Building activities with fellow emerging professionals
• All-expense paid travel to different company locations
• Enhanced understanding of our business through specialized training

Basic Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or related degree required
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Possess an enthusiastic/self-starter attitude
• Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Flexible and adaptable team player

Additional Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
