Job Function

Plans, organizes, and implements a STEM curriculum suitable for middle school students. Collaborates with staff and engages with students, guardians, and the community to promote a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans and assessments.
  2. Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with guardians and staff.
  3. Establish and maintain a safe and disciplined classroom environment.
  4. Maintain necessary records and documentation.
  5. Stay informed on STEM education research and best practices.
  6. Support diversity and equity initiatives.
  7. Participate in meetings, trainings, and school activities.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field with appropriate certification.
  • Preferred: Master's degree, endorsements in Science, Technology, Math, or related areas, and previous middle school teaching experience.
  • Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite or similar software.
