Job summary

Amazing Athletes in New York is seeking a STEM Instructor for our after-school program to guide Kindergarten through 5th-grade students in robotics and STEAM activities during 60-minute sessions. You will fuel curiosity and support hands-on exploration in a dynamic classroom setting.

Using Scratch, Kodable, LittleBits, Minecraft, Sphero Dash Robots, and other educational tools, you will lead project-based learning, document progress, and collaborate with the technology program director to create

Qualifications

Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program required.
Bachelor’s degree in Math, CS, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Engage and motivate Kindergarten to 5th-grade students during 60-minute Robotics sessions.
Use tools such as Scratch, Kodable, LittleBits, Typing.com, Codespark, Wonder Workshop apps, Sphero Dash Robots, and Minecraft.
Guide students through STEAM activities, focusing on project-based problem solving and creative game design.
Document student progress and communicate with the technology program director.
Foster a vibrant, inclusive and fun learning environment.
Maintain a positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
Handle logistics such as equipment setup and space organization.
