High Point University is seeking a part-time Community Outreach Assistant to support the Wanek School of Natural Sciences. You will help organize, prepare, and deploy Mobile Lab activities at Open Houses, SciQuest, and library events, while collaborating with faculty and student teams.

The role offers hands-on science communication experience, event setup, and program development opportunities in a university setting located in High Point, NC.

Responsibilities

• Organize materials for Mobile Community Lab in storage space
• Determine material replacement/replenishment needs in consultation with faculty
• Assist with module design and development for deployment on Mobile Community Lab
• Assist with module preparation and setup for Open Houses, SciQuest events, and High Point Public Library Events
• Other related duties as assigned
