Job summary

St. Ann's Home in Methuen, MA, seeks a STEM Instructor to lead science, technology, engineering, and math instruction for students aged 5–16 in a special education setting.

Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of educational technology experience, with strong knowledge of Google Apps for Education and related tools. Candidate should be able to coordinate remote teaching as needed and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ experience with educational technology.
• Proficient level of technology and 21st century learning; strong content standards knowledge.
• Experience with Google Apps for Education and STEM tools (3D printing, Arduino, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Model, deliver, and craft rich student-centered learning experiences in STEM.
• Weave STEM into multi-disciplinary curricula from K through 11.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to model technology-enhanced instruction.
• Coordinate synchronous and asynchronous remote instruction as needed.
• Participate in professional development to integrate technology in education.
