Job summary

Engineering for Kids - Phoenix Metro seeks instructors to lead hands-on engineering activities for children aged 7-10 at partner schools in Las Vegas. You will guide students through STEM projects, manage classroom dynamics, and follow provided curricula with full materials support.

Hours are 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm on weekdays, 5–15 hours weekly, with potential additional evening sessions at the learning center. Compensation ranges from $15 to $20 per hour based on experience and role.

Qualifications

• Love working with kids
• Experience or education in science, education, math, or technology preferred but not required
• Willingness to travel between schools in Summerlin, the southwest and Spring Valley

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on engineering and technology projects to spark problem-solving, collaboration and creativity
• Teach to ages typically 7-10 with a 1:16 or better student–teacher ratio
• Provide curriculum and supplies; offer online and on-the-job training
