We are seeking passionate, high-energy, and dynamic individuals to join our team as a Code Sensei teaching and mentoring kids in STEM, Coding, and robotics. As a Code Sensei you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students on a variety of STEM and coding topics. Positions available in Ft. Walton Beach, Pensacola and Gulf Breeze.

Camps Topics to Include, but not limited to

• Minecraft: Modding, coding, MCreator and/or Redstone
• Roblox and/or Roblox Studio
• Game Design in Scratch and/or Microsoft MakeCode Arcade-Block-based coding and Java
• Machine Learning
• LEGO Robotics
• YouTube-video editing/Canva
• Digital Art/AI Image Prompting

Knowledge, Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience working with children or teaching in a camp, classroom, or informal educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of STEM concepts and principles, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
• Knowledgeable about coding and technology; or able to quickly pick up basic concepts.
• Must be fun to work with and enjoy working in fast paced environments where requirements can change frequently.
• Ability to maintain order and discipline within a group setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate campers of varying ages, learning styles, personalities, and backgrounds.
• CPR and First Aid knowledge or certification (preferred but not required).
• Must pass a background check.
• We work with a number of neurodivergent children, patience and experience with working with learning differences is a plus.
