Job summary

The University of Washington seeks a Program Operations Specialist (STEM-Focused) for the GEAR UP RI SE UP initiative based in Toppenish, WA, with hybrid remote options. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, STEM-related fields, social sciences, public administration, or a related discipline.
• 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with U.S. Department of Education–funded federal grants (e.g., TRIO, CAMP, GEAR UP).
• Experience providing college access services to students and families within a K–12 setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead STEM-focused programming, enrichment activities, and career exploration events for GEAR UP sites.
• Coordinate events, campus visits, and partnerships with higher education and industry.
• Support site coordinators and family engagement efforts, aligned with grant objectives.
