Job summary

iFLY Indoor Skydiving in New York is seeking a part-time STEM Educator to guide students through immersive, wind‑tunnel related STEM activities during field trips and in‑classroom sessions.

You’ll deliver presentations, collaborate with Flight Instructors, run grade‑appropriate activities, engage with teachers and parents, and help implement the Education Program. Flexible mornings, occasional evenings and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in science, engineering, mathematics, STEM education, or related field.
• Mastery of science and mathematics concepts covered in K-12 school curriculum.
• Experience teaching in classroom, camp, museum, or other STEM education setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in‑person presentations, introducing students to STEM concepts.
• Collaborate with iFLY Flight Instructors to demonstrate wind tunnel concepts.
• Facilitate grade‑appropriate science activities or experiments.
• Engage with teachers and parents to elicit feedback about the Education Program.
• Work with staff to ensure successful program implementation.
• Communicate with Education Program staff to maintain and improve program.
