Job summary

iFLY Indoor Skydiving in Tampa, FL is seeking a passionate STEM Educator for a part-time, flexible role aligned with field trips occurring primarily Monday–Friday mornings. You will guide students through wind-tunnel-related STEM activities, partnering with flight instructors to illustrate physics in action and oversee hands-on experiments.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in a STEM field, possesses strong public speaking and customer service skills, and can manage groups up to 130

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, mathematics, STEM education, or related field.
Mastery of STEM concepts covered in K-12 curriculum (Ideal).
Experience teaching groups (up to 130 students) in classrooms, camps, museums, or similar settings.
Strong public speaking and customer service skills.
Ability to adapt to changing schedules and engage both students and adults.

Responsibilities

Deliver in-person presentations introducing grade-appropriate STEM concepts.
Collaborate with flight instructors to demonstrate physics of wind tunnel effects.
Facilitate grade-appropriate science activities or experiments.
Engage with teachers and parents to gather feedback on the program.
Coordinate with Education Program staff to ensure successful implementation.
Communicate with Education Program staff to improve the program.
