Job summary

iFLY Holdings, LLC is seeking a passionate STEM Educator for a part-time, flexible role in Naperville, IL. Field trips occur primarily Monday–Friday in the morning, guiding students through hands-on STEM activities and wind tunnel demonstrations with flight instructors.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, strong public speaking and customer service skills, and classroom experience. The position offers weekend/evening flexibility and pays $30.00 per hour.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in science, engineering, mathematics, STEM education, or related field.
Mastery of science and mathematics concepts covered in K-12 curriculum.
Experience teaching and leading groups.

Responsibilities

Deliver in-person presentations introducing grade-appropriate STEM concepts.
Collaborate with Flight Instructors to demonstrate behavior of objects in wind tunnel.
Facilitate a grade-appropriate science activity or experiment.
Engage with teachers and parents to gather feedback on the Education Program.
Work with staff to ensure successful program implementation.
Communicate with Education Program staff to improve the program.
