Job summary

CSU Stanislaus invites applications for an Instructional Student Assistant to support a STEM student engagement project. The role includes data collection from surveys and interviews, and collaboration with the biology faculty to analyze qualitative and quantitative data.

The position is open to current CSU Stanislaus students with eligibility to enroll, offering $20.00 per hour for 5–10 hours weekly and a start date in September 2026.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data collection from student surveys and interviews.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to study student engagement.
• Collaborate with Dr. Matthew Cover and biology team on the project.
