Job summary

North Hunterdon-Voorhees Regional School District is seeking a Director of STEM to lead district-wide STEM initiatives and support high-quality instruction across secondary schools. The candidate must hold a New Jersey Standard Certificate as a School Administrator or Principal and a master's degree in Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, or a STEM discipline.

Minimum five years of STEM teaching experience and strong NGSS/NJSLS expertise are required.

Qualifications

New Jersey Standard Certificate as School Administrator or Principal.
Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, or STEM discipline (Mathematics, Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology)
Minimum of five (5) years of successful secondary classroom teaching experience within a STEM discipline.
Demonstrated expertise in NGSS, NJSLS-Mathematics, interdisciplinary program design and the facilitation of Professional Development.
In-depth understanding of AchieveNJ evaluation procedures, educational technology integration and data-driven instruction.
Strong expertise in budget preparation, staff supervision and school leadership.
Required criminal history background check, proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status, and compliance with the NJ First Act residency requirement.
