Job summary

North Hunterdon-Voorhees Regional School District is seeking a Director of STEM to lead district-wide STEM initiatives and support high-quality instruction across secondary schools. The candidate must hold a New Jersey Standard Certificate as a School Administrator or Principal and a master's degree in Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, or a STEM discipline.

Minimum five years of STEM teaching experience and strong NGSS/NJSLS expertise are required.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Standard Certificate as School Administrator or Principal.
• Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, or STEM discipline (Mathematics, Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology)
• Minimum of five (5) years of successful secondary classroom teaching experience within a STEM discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in NGSS, NJSLS-Mathematics, interdisciplinary program design and the facilitation of Professional Development.
• In-depth understanding of AchieveNJ evaluation procedures, educational technology integration and data-driven instruction.
• Strong expertise in budget preparation, staff supervision and school leadership.
• Required criminal history background check, proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status, and compliance with the NJ First Act residency requirement.

DIRECTOR OF STEM

QUALIFICATIONS:

• demonstrated expertise in Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), NJSLS-Mathematics, interdisciplinary program design and the facilitation of Professional Development.
• In-depth understanding of AchieveNJ evaluation procedures, educational technology integration and data-driven instruction.
• Strong expertise in budget preparation, staff supervision and school leadership
• Required criminal history background check, proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status, and compliance with the NJ First Act residency requirement.

Minimum Salary $115,000 as per the Administrator's Contract with the Board of Education.
