Weber State University is seeking STEM Education Apprentices to be placed with select classrooms, teachers, and community partners to gain hands-on experience in science and math education.

Duties vary but may include assisting with labs, supporting instruction, tutoring, co-planning, and assessment. Must be a Weber State student; preference for those pursuing math or science teaching, or in the Propel program.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated interest and background in science or mathematics.
• Preference for those considering possibilities in science or math teaching.
• Propel teacher interns may be engaged with planning meetings and other science and math education events.

Responsibilities

• Assist with labs and classroom instruction.
• Provide one-on-one tutoring and co-planning.
• Support assessment and other science/math education activities.
