Job summary

City of Hope is seeking a Registered Nurse for Stem Cell Transplant care, working nights (7p-7a) in a high-acuity oncology setting. The RN will deliver comprehensive nursing care for adults and geriatrics, spanning inpatient and outpatient services, with a focus on cellular therapies.

The successful candidate will have 1–3 years of cellular therapy experience, a BSN or active enrollment, and Georgia RN licensure (or Compact State).

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in Cellular Therapy (Stem Cell Transplant and/or Immune Effector Cell).
• BSN required or enrolled within 6 months of hire and BSN completed within three years from hire date.
• Georgia Registered Nurse License or a RN license from a Compact State.
• BLS Certification required; ACLS Certification within 30 days of hire and renewed every two years.
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Certificate required on hire (exempt with BMTCN or previous ONS).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care to oncology patients across adult and geriatric settings, inpatient and outpatient.
• Demonstrate competency across malignant hematology and stem cell transplantation care.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans using the nursing process.
• Inspire and guide other care team members to optimize patient outcomes with effective communication and delegation.
• Address physical, spiritual, emotional, and educational needs of patients and caregivers.
• Coordinate care plans with other healthcare professionals and support persons.
