Job summary

City of Hope is seeking a RN to support Stem Cell Transplant I, providing patient-centered oncology care across adult and geriatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will deliver high-quality care across malignant hematology and transplantation, using the nursing process to develop individualized plans, coordinate with the healthcare team, and mentor colleagues while upholding patient dignity and privacy.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Cellular Therapy experience or equivalent
• BSN required or enrolled within 6 months of hire and completed within three years
• Georgia Registered Nurse License or compact state license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required on hire
• ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy/BIotherapy Provider certification required on hire (or BMTCN equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care to oncology patients across adult and geriatric populations in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Demonstrate competency across malignant hematology and stem cell transplantation nursing care.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing plans using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and support persons to optimize patient outcomes.
• Mentor and guide other qualified staff; delegate tasks per Georgia Nurse Practice Act and job descriptions.
• Document care and specimens accurately and maintain patient dignity, rights, and privacy.
