Job summary

UT Health San Antonio is hiring a Quality Manager for the Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy program. The role oversees quality plans across clinical, collection, and laboratory operations, ensuring FACT/AABB compliance and regulatory readiness.

The position requires at least four years of relevant experience, a related bachelor's degree (master's preferred), and ability to lead training, audits, and process improvement initiatives within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Master's degree preferred
• At least four years of related experience
• Knowledge of FACT and AABB accreditation standards recommended
• Experience applying quality management and customer service approaches
• Ability to work across multiple UT Health San Antonio entities
• Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute the SCTCT Quality Plan across clinical, collections, and lab settings
• Prepare quarterly quality reports and briefing materials for staff
• Oversee data submission to CIBMTR
• Monitor patient safety and experience metrics and drive improvements
• Maintain document control, SOPs, and change control processes
• Deliver training and create patient education materials for the program
• Support regulatory inspections and accreditation activities
• Collaborate with national cellular therapy programs to stay current with best practices
