Job summary

The candidate will generate retroviral/lentiviral vectors, perform CRISPR knockout, and analyze results with flow cytometry and RNA sequencing. Some evenings/weekends may be required; background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Theoretical knowledge of Molecular/Cellular Biology or related field, typically with an advanced degree.
• Experience with generation of retroviral and lentiviral vectors.
• Experience with CRISPR activation and CRISPR gene knockout.
• Experience with flow cytometry and intracellular phospho-flow cytometry.

Responsibilities

• Isolate and culture mouse and human hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells.
• Perform ex vivo culture and in vivo transplantation studies.
• Produce retroviral and lentiviral vectors and conduct CRISPR gene knockout.
• Analyze data using flow cytometry and RNA sequencing.
