• Experience with generation of retroviral and lentiviral vectors.
• Experience with molecular cloning and CRISPR activation/knockout.
• Experience with red blood cell extracellular vesicle purification.
• Experience with flow cytometry and cell sorting.
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead experiments related to hematopoietic stem cell and erythroid progenitor biology.
• Isolate and culture mouse and human hematopoietic cells ex vivo.
• Produce retroviral and lentiviral vectors and perform CRISPR edits.
• Assess results with flow cytometry and RNA-sequencing.
• Document procedures and maintain records.
