Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions in Cambridge, MA is seeking a passionate In Vitro Disease Modeling and Functional Genomics Scientist to join client-site early discovery research. This hands-on role requires strong lab skills and the ability to work both independently and with cross-functional colleagues.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree in related scientific discipline with 1-3 years of wet lab experience; cardiovascular disease experience preferred.
• Proficiency in cell culture, stem cell differentiation, and in vitro disease model development.
• Experience with gene manipulation methods, including CRISPR, siRNA, ASOs, lentiviral systems, and AAVs.
• Expertise in molecular biology techniques, including RNA extraction, qPCR, ELISA/MSD, and ICC.
• Experience with FLIPR and Seahorse OCR platforms.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to develop experimental strategies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop stem cell-based in vitro disease platforms.
• Develop assays for small‑molecule and CRISPR/genetic screens using high‑content imaging.
• Perform laboratory experiments, analyze data, and communicate findings clearly.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across therapeutic and functional areas.
• Maintain electronic lab notebooks and sample inventories.
