Job summary

Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a passionate In Vitro Disease Modeling and Functional Genomics Scientist to work onsite in Cambridge, MA. This hands-on role requires developing stem cell-based disease models, generating assays for CRISPR/genetic screens, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic early discovery environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. with wet lab experience, strong data analysis and communication skills, and proficiency in cell culture,

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree in related scientific discipline with 1-3 years of wet lab experience; cardiovascular disease experience preferred.
• Proficiency in cell culture, stem cell differentiation, and in vitro disease model development.
• Experience with gene manipulation methods, including CRISPR, siRNA, ASOs, lentiviral systems, and AAVs.
• Expertise in molecular biology techniques, including RNA extraction, qPCR, ELISA/MSD, and ICC.
• Experience with FLIPR and Seahorse OCR platforms.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to develop experimental strategies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Description

Eurofins PSS is seeking a passionate and dedicated In Vitro Disease Modeling and Functional Genomics Scientist. The candidate will work directly on the client site in Cambridge, MA and will collaborate with scientists from multiple therapeutic areas. The candidate will support the client’s dynamic and innovative early discovery research environment and will be expected to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues. This is a hands-on position. The ideal candidate shall have excellent lab skills, strong documentation skills, ability to analyze and summarize data to draw conclusions, and make recommendations.

Additional Information

The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable range of Cambridge, MA are encouraged to apply.
