Montefiore Medical Center in the Moses campus Stem Cell Lab is seeking a Stem Cell Clinical Lab Technologist to perform routine and emergency tests on blood and body fluids using automated and manual instruments. Hours are 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, located in Bronx, New York. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a physical science or medical technology and NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license or limited permit.

Qualifications

• Position requires at least a Bachelor’s degree in a physical science, medical technology preferred.
• New York State Department of Education Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or a limited permit are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency tests on blood, serum, spinal fluid and other body fluids using automated and manual equipment, depending on procedure.
• Monitor data and review results prior to release.
• Maintain quality control data and resolve QC failures per procedures and guidelines.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a physical science, medical technology preferred
