Zusammenfassung

Manhattan Youth is seeking part-time After-school Teachers/Activities Specialists to lead STEM and science enrichment for the 2026-2027 school year. Roles include coding, lego robotics, engineering activities, and math/science clubs, with emphasis on student engagement after school hours.

ClASSES run Monday–Friday from 2:00 to 6:00 pm, with 1.25–2.5 hour sessions; schedules vary by site. Opportunities exist to teach multiple clubs at different schools.

Qualifikationen

2+ years teaching experience with middle or elementary school children.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Passion for STEM and science enrichment activities.
Experience with educational technology instruction.
Ability to work across multiple sites and maintain relationships.

Aufgaben

Work with Education Directors to design program curriculum.
Create lesson plans and curriculum aligned to class goals.
Structure instruction to promote project-based learning.
Prepare activities and materials for daily schedule.
Promote core values and positive behavior.
Collaborate with staff to showcase student work.
Update Program Director on progress and challenges.
Attend staff meetings and comply with training.
Safely supervise groups during activities and field trips.
Perform other duties as assigned.
