Job summary

University of the Pacific seeks an Administrative Coordinator for the Reach for the Stars STEM Academy (RFTSSA) in Stockton. This part-time, temporary role supports program operations, budgeting, scheduling, and outreach for a six-week summer academy.

The coordinator will work under the School of Engineering Assistant Dean for Student Success, coordinating logistics, data, and communications to ensure a successful summer program for middle and high school students in the Tracy Unified School

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a valid Multiple Subject Credential, or Single Subject Mathematics, or Science teaching credential, or STEM certification.
• Ten (10) years of direct teaching experience in a public middle and/or high school setting.
• Five (5) years of coordinator/project management experience in a public middle and/or high school setting.

Responsibilities

• Support Tomorrow Project Administrator in all administrative functions prior to opening.
• Coordinate logistics, schedules, and outreach for the academy.
• Maintain records, budgets, and reporting for the academy.
• Assist with curriculum delivery and staff training.
• Attend orientation, staff meetings, and prep activities.
