Job summary

Joyson Safety Systems is seeking a Program Manager SW to lead steering wheel product programs. You will oversee schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams across engineering, sourcing, and quality to deliver on time and within cost targets.

You will coordinate customer communication, manage risks, and drive program reviews, while ensuring manufacturing readiness and PPAP activities are completed as required. A strong PM background in automotive is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Program Management, Engineering, Business or related field required.
• Prior automotive Program Management experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, control and update the Program Plan, Milestone Schedule, and Action Item Register to support awarded business in compliance with customer expectations and internal program tracking systems.
• Coordinate and manage the core cross functional team’s activities to ensure ALL milestones are met and escalate conflicts to management as needed.
• Support Product Engineering in the development and maintenance of the Component Design Specification and in defining performance characteristics of products.
• Ensure the plant can produce the product as designed and that prototypes are delivered on time.
• Lead DV/PV builds and ensure customer approval, monitoring test plans and issue resolution.
