Job summary

Kinsley Steel is seeking an experienced Steel Welder for a full-time on-site role. You will weld structural steel per detailed drawings and weld symbols, ensuring quality while following safety protocols.

The position requires passing a 3G flux-core weld test and 2G/3G experience, plus at least three years operating overhead cranes. Strong teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

  • Aim to pass 3G weld test with 1/16 flux core wire.
  • Experience with D1.1 codes and 2G/3G positions.
  • Three years of overhead crane operation experience.
  • Ability to interpret fabrication and construction drawings.
  • Flexible to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.

  • Maintain quality and safety standards on all projects.

Requirements For This Steel Welder Job
  • A successful candidate must be able to pass a 3G weld test with 1/16th flux core wire and have applicable experience with D1.1 codes and 2G/3G experience.
  • 3 years experience operating overhead cranes.
  • Have a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to interpret fabrication and construction drawings.
  • Must be flexible to work any schedule needed including overtime and Saturdays as needed.
