Job summary

Join Kinsley Steel, Inc. as a Painter/Load on-site role. You will paint and prepare structural steel and assist with loading and unloading steel from trucks, contributing to a fast-paced fabrication shop.

The role requires experience with overhead cranes, painting, and rigging, with the ability to stand for long periods and work overtime as needed. Competitive pay accompanies this position on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience with overhead cranes and painting; ability to operate spray equipment is a plus.
• Must be able to tolerate hot/cold environments and stand up to 10 hours.
• Flexible to work any schedule including overtime and Saturdays.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced fabrication shop setting.

A Little About Us

The Painter/Load is responsible for painting and preparing structural steel and assisting with loading and unloading steel from trucks as required.

Daily Responsibilities

• Prep and paint structural steel.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Perform rigging work to move materials as requires.
• Load and unload steel from trucks.
• Perform other duties as required to support the fabrication shop.

Requirements

• Must have experience with overhead cranes.
• Experience painting and using paint sprayers to apply paint is a plus.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating in an effective manner with co-workers, clients, and supervisors.
• Works in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures.
• Must be flexible to work any schedule including overtime and Saturdays as needed.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Must be able to tolerate hot and cold working environment.
• Must be able to stand on feet for up to 10 hours.
• Must be organized and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
