Fidelity Manufacturing in Ocala, FL is seeking a Steel Weld Supervisor for 1st shift to oversee welding operations, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in steel fabrication. The role requires strong leadership, hands-on welding expertise, and the ability to supervise a team during production.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, quality control, production planning, safety compliance, and reporting on performance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and welding training preferred.
• Minimum 5 years welding experience with 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise welding technicians and assign tasks to meet production goals.
• Provide training and development to elevate team performance.
• Maintain quality control procedures and inspect welds for defects.
• Coordinate with planning to ensure timely order completion.
• Enforce safety practices and conduct regular safety inspections.
• Maintain/warrant equipment calibration and schedule repairs.
• Troubleshoot welding issues and analyze root causes.
• Submit daily/weekly/monthly production, quality, and safety reports.
