Job summary

Qualdoc in Richmond, VA is seeking a Steel Shipping & Loadout Supervisor for 2nd shift on a contract-to-hire basis. You will coordinate material shipments, guide loadout operations, and emphasize safe handling and on-time deliveries.

You will direct daily loading, verify identifications and tickets, collaborate with production and logistics, maintain records, and lead safety meetings, while mentoring the team to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in structural steel handling or shipping operations.
• Minimum 2 years of team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Hands-on experience operating overhead cranes, telehandlers, vertical mast lifts, and forklifts.
• Familiarity with Tekla EPMgo or comparable production and shipping software is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.

Starting Pay: $26.00/hour + $3.00/hour shift differential (higher pay may be available based on experience)

Position Overview
