Job summary

Madden Bolt Corporation in Houston, TX is seeking a Galvanizing Receiver to manage incoming steel materials, inspect and identify items, and stage them for production in line with safety, quality, and operating procedures.

You will coordinate with production, material handling, and Quality Control to ensure accurate counts, timely delivery of material, and proper documentation, while maintaining organized receiving areas and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to read delivery documents, work orders, and identification tags.
• Basic reading, writing, mathematics, and accurate recordkeeping.
• Attention to detail, communication skills, and reliable attendance.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely with a production team.
• Experience with receiving or warehousing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming steel materials and customer deliveries.
• Verify deliveries against tickets, packing slips, work orders, and receiving documents.
• Tag, label, and identify materials accurately by customer, job number, and work order.
• Direct materials to designated receiving, staging, and storage areas.
• Coordinate movement with forklift and crane operators.
• Complete and submit receiving paperwork accurately and promptly.
