Job summary
Agate Steel, Inc. in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Steel Project Engineer to coordinate projects, manage document control, track RFIs, create schedules and submittals for clients and 3rd party contractors, and provide technical support for a efficient fabrication process.

- Bachelor’s degree in related engineering discipline or 5+ years of steel fabrication experience.
- Strong communication, budgeting, organizational and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with GD&T and codes; proficiency with project software.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate projects and manage document control, RFIs, and schedules from initiation to close-out.
- Review structural plans and designs; maintain logs of RFIs, drawings, and submittals.
- Coordinate detailing, fabrication, and erection schedules with clients and contractors; support cost reviews.
