gpac is seeking an experienced Production Manager for steel fabrication (structural, ornamental, & miscellaneous). The role focuses on optimizing workflows, maintaining quality, and delivering projects on time in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in steel fabrication production management and are proficient with Bluebeam, Excel, Tekla PowerFab, or Strumis. Compensation is flexible based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in steel fabrication production management.
• Background in structural, ornamental, or miscellaneous steel preferred.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Excel, and standard MS Office tools.
• Familiarity with Tekla PowerFab or Strumis or similar ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production operations and scheduling.
• Lead, train, and manage shop personnel to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, estimators, and fabrication team.
• Ensure quality control procedures are followed throughout production.
• Continuously look for ways to improve processes, timelines, and output.
• Interpret and work with technical drawings and blueprints.
• Support implementation of new software systems (ERP/fabrication management tools).

• Understanding of fabrication machinery, including:
• ALT Lightning Rail table (working with .dxg/.dwg files)
• Bendtech Dragon A400 (uses 3D modeling files from Tekla and similar)
