Paycom - ATS is seeking a fabrication lead to coordinate a shop team in Omaha, NE, ensuring production goals are met while aligning manpower, materials, and equipment. You will guide Equipment, Fitting, Welding and Warehouse functions, with emphasis on safety, quality, and process improvements.

Requirements include a minimum of 5 years in steel fabrication, strong leadership and communication, ability to read shop drawings, and readiness for overtime in a dynamic shop environment.

Qualifikationen

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years in steel fabrication.
• Experience in Fitting/Welding/Equipment Technician roles.
• Ability to read, understand and apply shop drawings.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and direct work of shop personnel to meet production schedules and goals.
• Advise Foreman/Manager on manpower, materials, equipment and resources needed.
• Plan and coordinate work of assigned shop personnel.
• Train and assist personnel in fabrication/processing/loading of structural and miscellaneous steel.
• Carry out duties of Equipment, Fitting, Welding or Warehouse Technician as appropriate.
• Identify and resolve drawing/cutting list/inventory issues early in fabrication.
• Enforce safety rules and provide feedback on performance.
